Privacy Policy
Discretion is at the heart of what we do. This page explains, in plain language, what personal data we collect through silkenvoy.com, why, and what your rights are.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
Silk Envoy is a brand of Ina Leibovic, who is the data controller for this website. For any question about your personal data, write to info@silkenvoy.com.
2. What data we collect and why
When you send the consultation form, we receive the details you choose to enter: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, the direction and timing of your plans, who is moving, children's ages (if you mention them), the services you are interested in, your preferred way of contact and your message.
We use this information only to reply to your request and prepare a consultation. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Please do not include health information or other sensitive details in the form; we will discuss them privately if they are relevant.
When you contact us directly by email, WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram, we receive your message and the contact details shown by that service. These services are run by their own providers under their own privacy policies.
When you visit the site, our hosting server automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, time and page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure (our legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is kept only for a limited period.
Analytics — only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see, in aggregated form, how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from. We do not use advertising or remarketing features. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics data is kept in Google Analytics for 2 months.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
| Name | Purpose | Duration | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| se_consent | Remembers your cookie choice (stored in your browser's local storage) | Until you clear it | Always |
| _ga | Google Analytics: distinguishes visitors | 2 years | Only after "Accept" |
| _ga_NND5P2TM9C | Google Analytics: keeps the session state | 2 years | Only after "Accept" |
If you click "Decline", Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We share it only with:
- Our hosting provider UAB "Interneto vizija" (Lithuania, EU), which hosts the website and our email;
- Google Ireland Limited — for Google Analytics, only if you have accepted analytics cookies;
- Independent professionals and institutions (for example lawyers, banks, schools, clinics) — only when needed for a service you have asked us to arrange, and only with your agreement.
5. International transfers
Silk Envoy works between the European Union, Uzbekistan and other countries, so your data may be accessed outside the EU — for example from Uzbekistan, where our founder is based, when we handle your request. Such transfers take place because they are necessary to respond to your request or to perform the service you have asked for (Article 49(1)(b) GDPR). Google may process analytics data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep data
- Requests that do not lead to cooperation — up to 3 years after our last contact, then deleted;
- Client data — for as long as we work together, and afterwards as long as required by law (for example accounting rules);
- Analytics data — 2 months in Google Analytics.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before). To use any of these rights, write to info@silkenvoy.com. We will reply within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in Lithuania this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or the authority in the country where you live.
8. Children
Our services are intended for adults. Parents may mention their children's ages in the form so that we can plan a family relocation; we use this information only for that purpose.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
